Martial arts painting gril 2     My name is Arnav and I am training with Sensei for more than a year. I like sensei’s dojo because his teachings are very good. He is a great teacher of ninjutsu. His dojo is better than any other martial arts place because he makes us do things to defend and attack. The other martial arts teach to attack, attack, and attack. He teaches all sorts of skills to defend and attack. I like him because he teaches very nicely and he is a good teacher. He doesn’t scold people. This why I like sensei. I have been in this school for a year and a half. And so far I love it. The color of my belt is yellow. My teacher (sensay) is so kind and nice. When I go there I’m happy. My classmates are like brothers and sisters to me. We all help each other out. We work hard and train our best. Sylvia Tovar Age: 11 ——————————————————————————————————– I go to the Niji Dojo in Bay Ridge, Brooklyn. My sensei or teach in Japanese always kills us with his workouts. Every single day that I go there after that I go home wet because of all the training. My sensei is rough with us most of the time, which is why I like to go there. There are many people in this school, adults, and children. Our peewee class is for babies that are 4 to 6 years old. Anyway I think this school is the best! Boris Braverman Age: 11 ——————————————————————————————————– Hi my name is Gabriella Kapotaniuk. I have been going to the Dojo for over 6 years. It has been a lot of fun. We do a lot of work and get tired but its all worth it. Sence teaches us to be kind to people and respect them even if they did something to you. All of the students that I work with are all nice and we always get along. The students from adult class are nice to. I think this school is great. People come here from far places like staten island. They come here to work out because they would like to be a martial artists and even run there own School. Sence is really nice and gives us fun things to do also, but he doesn it give it to us just for fun, he gives it to us to learn how to escape from people who try to kill us for example: climbing rope, and running up the wall. He shows us a lot of tools that were used in the old days for farmers and even policemen. Policemen in the old days used rope for hand cuffs. I think more people should join the Niji Dojo to learn how to protect yourself, and run away from people that try to kill you. This schools has been known as one of the best schools in Brooklyn. It has been really fun out of all these year and now I am not afraid to protect my self cause I know that I could do it. And I hope that this school known as Niji Dojo will never ever change. This schools has been a real honor to work out here and that’s all I have to say for this school. And I love it!!!!!! Gabriella Kapotaniuk. Age: 11 ——————————————————————————————————– Sensei is our teacher and his name is Ismael Rodriguez. He teaches very helpfully, especially to the lowest classes but as you get older he gets strict so you could turn a black belt like him and become better than him and better then his teacher who is the grandmaster of this dojo. His name is Sensei Tanemura. He’s the one that sends you tabies which are type of shoes that you could were during class, rank (belts), certificate, badges, and ninpo books. Genbukan Ninpo is a tradition martial arts that was past down for lots and lots of generations. When you learn Ninpo you have to remember the Japanese term for it and remember different names for weapons. If you want to be part of Ninpo you have to be honest , have effort and to be open minded. I was here for six years and I’m a green belt, so you could trust me on this one. Slava Maleyev Age: 11
