Niji No Hashi Dojo Martial arts School

Niji No Hashi Dojo Martial Arts in Cary, Morrisville, North Carolina

Parent,

The 2 or more hours your child spends everyday after school are some of the most crucial. The hours between getting out of school at 2:30 or 4:00 and when you get finished at
5 or so can be used productively or they can have a HUGE NEGATIVE EFFECT on YOUR CHILD…. Let’s explore.

Some kids go to baby sitters, some go home and “hang out” with their friends and some do whatever they want. Some are really, really board with what they’re doing after school!

Here’s the problem…

The hours after school add up fast and if you are not careful they can add up to a lot of wasted time!
TIME! Is the very essence of their existence

Think about…

A child will spend about 180 days in school per year. Everyday there will be at least two hours after school that need to be accounted for…

That’s 360 hours per year that a child is doing what????

Well, that’s up to their parents, but what they could be doing is…

• Developing Self-Discipline
• Learning How To Steer Clear of Peer Pressure
• Building Un-Stoppable Self Confidence
• Getting into Great Physical Shape
• Learning Self-Defense Skills That Could Save Their Lives
• Developing The “Mindset For Success”
• Learning How To Set And Achieve Goals
• Forging Quality Friendships With Other Like Minded Kids
• And Much More!

I don’t blame you. You’re thinking, “Come on… how can Doing Martial arts After School instill in my young one all of the character qualities they need for success?”

Well, I’m here to tell you in more ways than you can begin to imagine that our Private “Martial Arts After School Fitness & Success Program” will give your child a head start in life and help them do better in school!

My name is Ismael Rodriguez and I am the instructor at Niji No Hashi Dojo Martial Arts School in Cary,Morrisville, NC I’ve been a professional Martial-Arts Instructor for 40 years now! I owned a school in Brooklyn New York for 22 years before selling it and moving to Cary North Carolina I’ve been teaching here for 13 years. Living in New York I have been in many violence situations. True martial arts is not a sports and getting into an altercation really gets violent you have to meet violence with true self defense with no limitations with no rules. You’re better off walking away but when you trapped in a corner and you have no way out your children really have to learn to defend themselves against real violence.

Since 1981 I’ve been nurturing children just like yours after school with character building tools found only in martial-arts. No other after school activity can match up! That’s right I had a very big After School Martial arts Program at the school I previously owned. One year we had 32 children in the program!

Let me tell you though I am not interested in allowing that many kids in our new “ After-School Fitness & Success Program!”
I will only allow 15 Students in this exclusive, private, V.I.P. Program!

You’d like your child to build the self-esteem and self-confidence to have a more productive school year wouldn’t you? And a really, really big benefit to use is…

This program will free up your time so you
can get more accomplished while your child is being occupied after school!

So to Re-Cap….

Your child has the opportunity to be part of a very exclusive learning and character building program everyday after school!

You’ll have the piece of mind knowing that your child will be at the Dojo (school) everyday and will be developing the character qualities of a successful, well-rounded individual who is ready to take on life’s challenges!

Let me quickly sum up how the program works.
1. Your child will then get right into a focused True Martial arts lesson that is physically and mentally stimulating.

2. They will be able to earn their martial arts belts in do time belts and get all the benefits of True Martial arts training at a convenient time for you.

Tips to help you see hidden depression

How to Spot Hidden Depression

Tips-to-help-you-see-hidden-depression-Martial-arts-cary,NCpablo-3

Depression isn’t always easy to spot in loved ones, and they may be hiding it on purpose. However, there are signs and tips to help you see their hidden depression.

Depression can be a devastating condition that affects them on multiple levels.

Use these strategies to help you discover if your loved one is suffering from depression:

  1. Why people hide their depression. It’s easier to hide the issues than to deal with them, so it’s common for this to occur.
  • People hide their depression because they’re scared and don’t want others to know what is happening to them. They also may be worried about losing their jobs or kids. Embarrassment is another reason for it to happen.
  • Depression still comes with a stigma, and they don’t want it attached to them.

They may overcompensate. To hide their depression, they overcompensate by being more outgoing than usual.

  • Studies show that people trying to hide their depression can force themselves to be more outgoing and give fake smiles. They’re trying to keep their issues undercover, so they want others to think they’re fine.
  1. They have eating disorders. Issues with food are common among those with depression.
  • Changes in appetite are common. They may eat too much or too little. Their diets may be out of control as they try to hide their depression.
  • If you notice diet changes in your loved ones, then consider why they’re happening. Food can serve as an emotional trigger. They can use it to make themselves feel better or worse.
  1. They have angry outbursts. These outbursts can become more frequent as the depression gets worse.
  • An occasional angry outburst over a terrible situation is normal for everyone. However, if you notice frequent and strange angry outbursts, then your loved ones may be suffering from depression.
  1. Their sleep patterns change. Unhealthy sleep patterns are an issue for those with depression.
  • Sleep patterns that change for no reason may be a sign of a deeper issue. Your loved ones may sleep too much or too little. They may complain about not getting enough sleep, yet they refuse to go to bed.
  • It’s important to look deeper into sleep issues. Why are they having trouble falling asleep or staying asleep? Or, why are they staying in bed for so long?
  • Insomnia is frequently linked to depression.
  1. They turn to addiction. Addiction and depression are often linked together.
  • Addiction can come in many forms and includes food, drugs, alcohol, or other items. It can also include gambling or other behaviors.
  • Risky behavior is an issue for people who suffer from depression. If you can spot these behaviors, then you can seek help and get them treatment. It’s important not to ignore their cry for help.
  1. They hide their feelings by keeping insanely busy schedules. Work, family, and volunteer activities can fill up the day and stop them from addressing their depression.
  • It’s common for those who are hiding their depression to fill up their day with a ton of activity. This keeps them busy and stops them from thinking. It also keeps others from questioning them.
  • A busy schedule prevents them from having to deal with their emotions, so they pile on the activities.
  1. They have trouble thinking clearly. People who suffer from depression can often make bad decisions or refuse to reach any decision and have trouble with their thoughts. They may also show difficulty in focusing on easy things.

Use these tips to help you spot hidden depression in your loved ones. You can help them feel better and get help

Cohesion and cooperation and Principles You Preach

Walk the Talk – Practicing the Principles You Preach

Principles You Preach-pablo-3

How often have you run into a leader who’s been successful at guiding others by saying one thing and then doing something different? Not very often, right? That’s simply because it doesn’t work!

It’s highly likely that principles taught without the right examples being put into practice will eventually fall by the wayside.

Especially if you’re in a position of authority, it is of utmost importance to lead by example if you expect to gain compliance.

Leading by example will ensure these benefits:

  1. Support of the principles based on results. For example, if you’re teaching honesty, when people see for themselves that you gain the trust of others by being honest, they will likely see the benefits of being honest themselves.
  1. Full understanding of the principles. Just imparting principles to others isn’t always enough. In fact, the majority of people may have a completely different understanding of what’s expected of them.
  1. Cohesion and cooperation. This is particularly true whenever team effort is required. When everybody is on the same page, processes, departments and families run more cohesively.
  1. When others can see that you are fully complying with the principles you teach, you’ll ultimately gain their respect.

Disastrous Results of Not Practicing What You Preach

So what happens when you try to teach certain life principles but allow your actions to dictate otherwise?

You’re bound to run into any or all of the following situations:

  • Those you expect compliance from will very soon grow to resent you, especially if the principles you’re teaching are a challenge for them to perform.
  • You may end up with a negative reputation as an ineffective leader or teacher as you lose sight of the very actions you teach.
  • Cases of rebellion will continue to grow as more and more people feel they’re being dictated to instead of led.

How to Start Leading By Example

It’s very easy to outline your expectations; it’s the simplest part of the equation. And that’s a start, because at least you know what the principles are. As they say, “Knowing is half the battle” but in this case, it’s the smaller half!

It may take a lot of effort to really walk the talk and practice the behaviors that you want others to emulate. However, you can get started practicing this positive principle on a daily basis with only a small effort:

Start small and stick to your immediate circle of influence.

  • Give yourself the opportunity to impart morals and good belief systems on your immediate family and close friends.
  • Tackle each principle one at a time.
  • Work hard at allowing it to become an integral part of your everyday life.

Once you’ve mastered one, move on to something else. However, it’s important to be able to give testimony to the fact that there are actually greater benefits to adhering to that particular principle than not adhering. There is an element of fulfillment when you can show others just what kind of actions, thoughts and behaviors contribute to a better, more wholesome outcome.

Walking the talk is a lifelong journey. There may be times that you’ll fall below your own expectations and the principles you aspire to uphold. However, what’s important is that you recognize it and take the necessary steps to get back on track!

Methodologies for Living a Conscious Life

Would you like to get more out of your life? It’s never past the point where it is possible to settle on another decision or opposite your life’s course. One approach to carry on with a more enhanced life is to be aware of what you’re doing at each moment. Along these lines, you stay associated with your conduct and sentiments.

Here’s an example situation: You’ve chosen to quit eating potato chips and chocolate. You make a vow to yourself to watch what you eat. Be that as it may, after two hours, you all of a sudden acknowledge you’re sitting before the TV, pack of potato chips close by.

Presently envision the same situation, yet this time you behave differently. You spend some time thinking about how to ensure you avoid potato chips and chocolate. You decide to take your junk food over to a friend’s house and leave it there. At dinner, you smile to yourself as you prepare to eat a salad and baked chicken because you plan to thoughtfully focus on eating healthy.

The second scenario demonstrates the concept of living a conscious life. Knowing what you want, choosing how you spend your time, and staying in touch with your feelings are indicators of a conscious life.

There are many techniques you can implement to help you purposely live the way you want to. When you live consciously, you’re no longer a victim of the wind, being blown about this way and that way by the circumstances of your life. You can create the life you desire with conscious living.

Try these ideas to get you started and inspire you on your journey:

  1. Create the life you want one step at a time. Rome wasn’t built in a day.
  • Spend some time exploring what you already love about your life. Also investigate what you’d like to change.
  • Then, think about how you can take deliberate steps to create the life you desire.
  1. Seek balance in your life. For example, if you disagree with someone, take time to consider the other person’s side of the argument.
  • Allow yourself to change your mind.
  1. Live in the present moment. You’ve most likely heard this suggestion before. But what does it really mean to live in the moment? Consider this example:
  • While you’re visiting your mother, think about her and enjoy your conversation and activities together. Avoid making your store list mentally or trying to recall what else you have to do today. Just stay in the present moment with your mother and focus on what the two of you are doing.
  1. Know yourself. Awareness of your likes and dislikes is important to conscious living.
  • Learn what’s important to you. Discover what makes you tick, what drives you, and what you find inspiring.
  • Self-understanding is an integral part of living life consciously because if you know your preferences and motivations, you can then create circumstances that will enable you to accomplish your goals.
  1. Live your own truth. As a teenager, you might have gravitated toward peers who didn’t judge you, which made you feel more comfortable. Perhaps, in actuality, you didn’t have all that much in common with them. As an adult, you can now stay more true to your own beliefs.
  • When you live your truth, you stay faithful to what’s genuinely important to you.
  1. Learn to let go of negativity and situations you can’t control.
  • Conserve your emotional energy for what you actually can change: yourself and your own life. Now that’s conscious living!
  1. Take action. Become interested and involved in the goals you’ve set. Put effort into achieving those objectives and you’ll be well on the road to living consciously.

Altering how you live your life can be an ongoing challenge. Selecting just one of the above ideas and putting it into practice will help you begin your journey toward conscious living. Living life consciously will bring you the healthier, more joyful existence that you deserve.

Control Your Stress Now And Relax

Control Your Stress Now And Relax

Stress is often inevitable, but it doesn’t have to ruin your life. Continue reading to discover some helpful ways to combat stress and its negative effects on your life.

You should control the level of stress in your life under control. Elevated stress can result in health problems such as depression, ulcers, insomnia, hypertension, muscle aches as well as heart attacks.Getting the right amount of rest will help you ward off unnecessary stress and reduce your risk of developing these diseases.

For example, if you’ve got a comrade that creates stressful situations for you, find ways to distance yourself from that relationship.

Take the issues that are causing you out and number it from 1-10. One would be a minor problem, and ten represents the catastrophic problems. This exercise can help you to learn to not sweat the small stuff.

You may think that living a stress-free life is an unattainable goal, though it actually can be done. Once you start identifying the things that cause you stress, you can then make necessary changes to your life and minimize your contact with your triggers.

If your boss isn’t a curmudgeon and allows you to listen to your MP3 player at work, this can be of great assistance. Be sure to choose from a selection of music as this will help to soothe you. If you want louder music, keep the lyrics positive and the tempo toe-tapping.

Video games are a wonderful relief from stress for those who enjoy them. Playing games lets you focus on the act of playing, thus helping to distract you from other worries. You can feel better by playing a game either by yourself or with others; both ways improve your mood.

You can sweat out the toxins circulating in your body this way. Go running or jogging to eliminate stress out of your life.

Stand next to a stationary wall, put your weight in your hands on the wall, place your hands flat on the wall and push as hard as you possibly can. Stretching out your hamstrings can help relieve stress.

A great technique for reducing stress can be just to lie back and do some daydreaming.Allow your mind to choose a place and then let it go there. This type of exercise is fantastic for helping your mind deal with stressful situation.

You can avoid a lot of stressful situations by preparing for worst case scenarios in advance.Keep a spare car key on you in case you get locked out of your car, a few cherries or strawberries for snacks at work, and always have a backup plan for whatever you are doing. Knowing how to handle your problems ahead of time will make a stressful situation not so stressful.

If you keep telling yourself you are very hungry, you will only make the sensations even worse. Saying the word or thinking the word will cause you to feel more of it, so call it another name!

Take a few deep breath before you react to any stressful situation. Take a moment to count to ten, while taking some deep breaths, and then continue with dealing with the situation. This simple act can make a huge difference between being calm and being stressed in the most logical course of action.

Consider buying a little treat or toy for your child, or fixing a treat for your child.
By using these tips, you can manage stress and live peacefully. Be sure to use relaxation techniques whenever experiencing stress to avoid physical as well as mental health problems. There are ways to reduce your stress for a more enjoyable life.
